With 10 years of experience as a trial lawyer, and nearly 15 years in conflict resolution, Susannah’s approach is pragmatic and human-centered, ensuring parties feel heard while moving discussions toward clear, practical outcomes.

Her mediation practice focuses on professional negligence disputes including medical, hospital and nursing malpractice; elder law and nursing home negligence; and healthcare-related class actions; as well as institutional sexual abuse matters. Before joining Hendler Mediation, Susannah served as legal counsel to national organizations, an advisor to individuals navigating reputationally-sensitive conflict, and chaired one of Ontario’s largest interdisciplinary primary care boards.
